The Carquinez Bridge and a busy stretch of Highway 101 in San Francisco are fully open for the Monday morning commute after Caltrans completed two major weekend projects ahead of schedule. The westbound Interstate 80 span of the Carquinez Bridge, which carries traffic southbound toward the Bay Area, reopened at midnight after being closed since Friday night.
